Once you make a paste, the content of that paste is stored and exposed to the public permanently. The IP address you used while uploading it is tracked internally for spam-prevention purposes and is not exposed to the public.
All content/data exposed to the public is necessarily exclusively information an end-user willfully published themself.

This service does not provide the tools to delete any content uploaded to it.
All pastes are indexable, searchable, and findable, without exception.
Therefore, any content you upload is effectively public in perpetuity.

Staff have tools to limit the visibility of specific pastes in case of spam, emergencies, or legal violations.

Remember: you can never delete anything from the public web forever. Even if the copy on this webservice is gone, that does not delete Google's cache (or any other webcrawler's cache), web.archive.org's copy, the cache in the browser of any user who opened the page, the copy anybody downloaded, ...

If you mistakenly posted a password / authentication token / ... to ANY web service, the only solution is to immediately change that password / reset that token / ... - it is exposed and potentially in the hands of malicious actors. Any deletion buttons provided to you by any other services give a false sense of security and do not actually protect you.
